Explain how you determine the type of triangle given the sides: 4, 10, 11.

So we have a few different types of triangle, namely Equilateral Isosceles Scalene Equilateral triangles have three equal sides and so they have 3 equal angles of 60 degrees Isosceles triangles have 2 equal sides and two equal angles opposite them Scalene triangles have NO equal sides and so three different angles So as an example:

So what do you think about the triangle given by 4, 10 and 11? Is it an isosceles, scalene, or equilateral triangle?

We can also classify triangles based on their angles so this might be helpful too
