did the image post?

AZ:

Yes, it posted Are those your final answers or do we need to start with what abiotic and biotic factors are

smurfofficial:

I think the answers I put those are correct. I went to google docs and make a list of words to study and put what it means so I think I got it correct

AZ:

so you got a few of them wrong so let's start over biotic factors is anything that is living abiotic factors are everything else so is sunlight and heat a living thing?

smurfofficial:

wait so abiotic doesn't means things that is not living?

AZ:

it does mean things that are not living

smurfofficial:

sunlight and heat isnt living

AZ:

so it would be abiotic

smurfofficial:

oh

AZ:

what about insects? are they living or not living?

smurfofficial:

that living

AZ:

so is that biotic or abiotic

smurfofficial:

biotic because it means living things

AZ:

Excellent! What about a rotting log? remember plants and trees are living things

smurfofficial:

oh that said rotting log i thought it said rolling log but that abiotic

AZ:

this one's a little tricky because the log used to be alive and part of a tree but now it's rotting but it's considered biotic still

smurfofficial:

oh wow it still got life?

AZ:

yeah, it's considered as biotic but this one is a tricky one and people can debate if it should be considered as abiotic but just stick with biotic for it

smurfofficial:

okay thank you

AZ:

so what about bacteria? biotic or abiotic?

smurfofficial:

that one confuses people but the answer is biotic because that is a living thing but some people dont believe so

AZ:

Exactly! Now what about water? Biotic or abiotic?

smurfofficial:

tuff one I stuggle on that one a little I feel like ti abiotic

AZ:

Good! It is abiotic because water isn't a living thing.

AZ:

What about rocks? Biotic or abiotic?

smurfofficial:

hmmm I also struggle on that one....biotic?

AZ:

are rocks living or non-living?

smurfofficial:

in my point of view rocks. are fossils

AZ:

not all rocks are fossil

smurfofficial:

hmmmm so it abiotic

AZ:

yes

smurfofficial:

I got them all correct thank you so much for your work and taking out your time

AZ:

You're welcome :)
