Which factors tend to promote higher biodiversity in an ecosystem? Check all that apply. low rainfall diversity of niches short growing seasons large area warm climate
so we want more biodiversity... we want more diversity in all the plants and animals which answer choices would help more plants grow, give space to more animals and just be more accommodating for more species?
strong clutch for D
good, good What about low rainfall? Do we want to keep that or eliminate it? Plants would need lots of water
low rainfall not just for the plants but some animals may get thirsty
exactly, so would that allow there to be more biodiversity? If plants and animals aren't able to have enough water to grow
water the second main source
so far we only have large area what other factors do you think would help?
large area because the animals would try to eat the others in day
would more animals and plants grow in a cold environment like Antarctica or a warm climate like the Amazon rain forest?
to be honest....they both need different environment because they can't grow at the same place some need cold some need warm some need hot some can adap the the climates they are in some can't some will just die
that's true but think about which places have the MOST life is it in warm areas or cold areas?
warm sir/ma'am
exactly
;D
thank youuu
there's still one more answer!
So we said no to `low rainfall` and yes to `large area` and `warm climate` but what about `diversity of niches`? @smurfofficial
yessir
yes ma'am
do you think diversity of niches would help more plants and animals grow
yeah
Good job!
I already had that one mark off as my first one
oo okay, good! Just wanted to make sure you didn't miss any correct answer choices :)
thank you ;D
you're welcome ;D
