Randomm:

True or False: 1. Magnetic force can act from a distance. 2.Artificial Magnets are more useful than natural magnets. 3. Unlike poles repel eachother 4. Steel is used for making pemanent magnets.

LKylie:

Umm

LKylie:

1. True 2. True 3. False. 4. True

Extrinix:

What's your answer? (Also this can only be answered directly...)

Extrinix:

LK no drect answers remember?

LKylie:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Extrinix LK no drect answers remember? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Ik

LKylie:

But its true or false

Extrinix:

Well explain each of the things and have them decide for themselves whether it's true or false

Randomm:

I need explanation

LKylie:

Ok wait

LKylie:

1. Magnetism can be induced in magnetic substance

LKylie:

2. Artificial magnets are more useful bcs natural magnets are week and have no regular shapes.

LKylie:

3. Unlike poles attract each other, like poles repel each other

LKylie:

4. Steel is used for making permanent magnets, temporary magnets are made up of electromagnets

Randomm:

Hmm this might help thnx

Astrid1:

One, has to be T because :Magnetic force is a non-contact force created by charged particles or aligned atoms moving together. Two Must be True because natural magnets are substances with magnetic properties that exist in nature. Artificial magnets are materials created by rubbing natural magnets against iron and steel. Natural magnets are favored over artificial magnets because they can be made more efficient to meet our needs. Three must be False because, unlike poles attract and like poles repel each other. Four must be True because when a nonmagnetic piece of steel is positioned near a magnet, the atoms inside it rearrange in such a way that a permanent magnet is formed. As the atoms align, a magnetic field is created that maintains its power.
