A leaky valve on the water meter overcharges Ahmed for one Liter of water for every 2 months. The overcharges amount w varies directly with time t. Find the equation that models the variation?

Karlottalotta:

Is this all there is to this question?

I myself am looking for a step by step answer!

jhonyy9:

do you know what mean direct variation of w and t ? @supie any idea ?

jhonyy9:

@AZ any idea here ?

Mercury:

the problem states that w varies directly with t that already tells you w = kt to find k, we can simply divide 1 L by 2 months to get the rate of overcharge per month then plug k back into the original equation
