Is it appropriate to use examples that have happened to you when writing an argument paper? I'll explain a little because I make no sense. I'm writing an argument paper on fake service dogs and how they should be considered more of a problem. I have 2 of my own (real service dogs) and want to use our own experiences with fake service dogs but am unsure.

It is appropriate, as long as you have some gathered facts, I think it's completely natural to use your experiences to make an argument
