Since you're offline, I'll just take you through it. We're trying to factor this out, and we can already see, that the trinomial can be divided by 2, to make it simpler, which brings it to 8y^2 +3y-5 We know that looking at the -5, the factors are 5 and 1, and it's either (8y+5)(y-1) or (8y-5)(y+1) Since we only have 2, it would be easier to just FOIL both, so at the end, we know that it is 2(8y-5)(y+1) So, the answer is the first one
