Can someone tell me what the problem is actually asking? I need to know if it's just talking about the cylinder part or both the cylinder and dome.

AZ:

It's talking about both the cylinder part and the dome. The dome is just half of a sphere so just imagine it's a whole sphere and find the volume. Then you divide it by 2 so you get the volume of half of a sphere. The volume of the entire silo will be volume of cylinder + volume of 1/2 sphere

AZ:

Do you know the formula for finding the volume of a cylinder and of a sphere?

Honda:

@AZ I know the formula for the cylinder but not the sphere

AZ:

\(\large \text{Volume of a sphere}=\dfrac{4}{3}\pi r^3\) remember to divide by 2 because the dome is only half of a sphere
