Can anyone tell me what the difference between a sprain, fracture, and break is? I'm meaning symptom-wise.
With a sprain, you feel pain. But if you have numbness or tingling, your ankle is most likely broken.
And a fracture is like a crack in the bone.
@mdobbs6856 that's not really the answer i was looking for. that doesn't describe the symptoms someone may have of each. but thanks anyway

I was thinking a sprain was more of stretching of the tissue that surrounds the outer layer of ur bone causing pain for a human that fracture was just like not a broken bone but more like a craking in the bone but it's still somewhat connected so not completely broken (I'd say partially broken) But I like the other users answer to the word "Fracture" And I thought breaking in the bone would just mean that the bone is split into half, and the broken-off half is disconnected from the full bone. Google could help u though
@Positivity help, please.
There are ppl that tried to help,be more specific with the question ur askin. Are u asking how to tell the symptoms apart?
yes i'm an AT in training and will be working with this
Ok how to tell a sprain from a fracture : Ex: Chris thinks his ankle is fractured when he walks his ankle hurts, when he massages his ankle it hurts, is his ankle fractured or broken? A sprain is more of stretching or tearing of the tissue that surrounds the outer layer of ur bone causing this could cause you slight but bearable pain. A fracture is more of a u cant feel type of thing sometimes unless u prolly touch it and there is swelling or is super fragile where the bone is fractured at. You'll most likely feel a fracture when u put pressure on the injury. So possibly Chri's ankle is most likely (Fractured). (DO u get this? Ik its a suckish explanation but ya know I'm trying)
I originally meant : ",is his ankle fractured or sprained"
