Which idea in the Declaration of Independence came from the Enlightenment? Women, as well as men, should have the right to vote. Colonies have the duty to obey the mother country. Taxes are not needed and should not be paid. Governments get their power from the people they govern
What do you think
3 of the answers are not really in the Declaration of Independence. so you can start by thinking what is the one that is actually in there.
You can remove the first one because women weren't given the right to vote back then, the second one is an obvious choice to remove because the whole reason for the Declaration was to officially break ties with Great Britain. And the third one can be removed because they still had to pay taxes and its not an enlightenment idea.
very nice son

^From the declaration of independence
its also stated that the enlightenment ideas "advocated such ideals as liberty, progress, tolerance, fraternity, constitutional government, and separation of church and state" nowhere in there does it say the rights of woman.
So its d lol for the person who asked this question and isn't paying attention
