What is a good way to start an argumentative essay about why education should be free.
How I would start a paragraph for topics like this is with a strong hook, "Take a look at that school list there, or think back at that long list of school supplies. Didn't you wish there were no required supplies or items?" After a hook/introductary sentence like that, you would then move into the thesis statement and complete the rest of the essay
isnt education free tho? (besides college)
so start it off with a question?
yes not college , uni

With a rhetorical question, it gets the reader thinking about the topic and leads to them curious and intriqued on a solution for that curiosity.
