Graph the function. Describe its position relative to the graph of the indicated basic function. f(x)=2^x+2; relative to f(x)=2^x

Angle:

Hi savannah6194 Welcome to QuestionCove! Does your problem have \(2^{x+2}\) or is it \(2^x + 2\) ?

savannah6194:

the second one

Angle:

Thank you in that case, I think we might want to think of something like: \(y = a^{x-h}+k\) where h is how much left or right the graph is moved and k is how much up or down the graph is moved

Angle:

since we have a + 2 value in the k spot I'd say we might be moving the graph UP by that much
