snowflake0531:

Okay a(b+c) = ab+ac a(b-c) = ab - ac Do you know how to multiply variables/terms together?

snowflake0531:

Firstly, don't quote me each time lol, that's double notifications. By looking at 3a(8a-6b) How would you distribute it out, referring back to---- a(b+c) = ab + ac

snowflake0531:

*ab + ac as in, a times b, plus, a time c

snowflake0531:

If you don't know, you could just tell me?

Lisaneedham:

idk

snowflake0531:

3a(8a-6b) 3a would be the 'a' 8a would be the 'b' 6b would be the 'c' a(b-c) = ab-ac So, it would be 3a*8a - 3a*6b

snowflake0531:

Can you simplify ^^^^

Lisaneedham:

thank you so much i really appreciate it

snowflake0531:

did you get the answer?

Lisaneedham:

yes i did thank you

snowflake0531:

yw~
