The first step you should take in the argument process is to ask your audience to take action to examine a question that has more than one side to take a firm stance on a subject to present evidence to defend your position

Do you have any ideas on what it might be?

nunyaaaaaa:

my solution it to beat they............ jpjp

mxddi3:

To begin, we can eliminate options A and D. This is because it's asking for the `first` step. We can't present evidence or ask the audience to take action if there isn't even an argument yet. Now, think. When you write an argumentative paper, do you choose a side first or do you research topics that have two sides. (ex: should there be school uniforms is an acceptable topic vs. "how to tie your shoes" because it's not an argument). Which do we do first, option B or C?

rxcklesskaisher:

b

mxddi3:

I'd agree with B. You need to find an acceptable argument before choosing sides.
