Welcome to QuestionCove! To begin, I'd say we can eliminate option A. This is because empathy (when you can understand how another person if feeling and feel what they are going through) isn't really created when we have the first day of school. Nerves are there for some, but they tend to go away after the first few days, if not the first. I'd also say to eliminate option B and this is because gifts sitting in a tree do not really create this either. Now from C and D, which one of these events do you think create this feeling of empathy? Which one would make you feel for someone and realize what they must be experiencing at that time and how it would make you feel if it were you in that spot.
