How can I create characters for my book, that are fitting for the plot and theme?
Here is the summary: For three years, he watched everybody around him die. The only one left was his little sister, and he vowed to take care of her, but that too, was proving more difficult than expected. With zombies roaming the streets and a new mutation possibly taking place, X has no time for distractions. But when a mysterious man shows up who goes by the name of Y, then it all changes. X, Y, and L (lil sister) are kidnapped by a still standing tribe. This tribe belongs to J, and J has plans for the trio, and if they don't comply, then all will be lost...?

One thing you can do for your characters is make them relatable
Relatable characters give depth in them, and makes them more understanding
