With Einstein's theory of general relativity he basically states that gravity is not a force. Instead, he said that the ground was actually moving up towards you and that's why when you would jump off of something you feel the same effect as you would in space. But that doesn't make too much sense because wouldn't the Earth be expanding if the floor was moving up in all directions across the entire world. he did say something about that we do live in curved space time and in order to stay stationary in curved space time you need to move. I still don't understand can anybody help me with this
This isn't for an assignment just purely for my own gain
I understand where you are coming from with this basis of idea, It might be gravity, without gravity we wouln't be standing here. We would be floating. Whereas for a split second when we are jumping we are not using gravity. You know when you jump on a trampoline and the part where your feet go go up and down with you, that is basically what happens with the ground too. They are both flexible and can be put anywhere. Honestly, the atmosphere is quite weird. I sure hope that helped if not, Sowwy.
