can someone please explain this to me?
in an arithmetic sequence, you're adding by a constant number to each term what are you adding to 28 to get 8 28 + x = 8 what is x? it's the same number that when added to 8 gives us -12 8 + x = -12 x = ??

and then \( a_n = a_1 + d (n - 1) \) d is that common number you're adding by \( a_1\) is going to be the first term which is 28 in this question n is the nth term and we're looking for the 91st term so n = 91
