I need feedback on this report on farm boy
it's due today

The title of the story is a farm boy. The story is fiction and was written by Michael Morpurgo. The story took place in the years after world war 2 on a farm in Devon called burrow in England. The main characters were the author and his grandpa.

The book is divided into 3 main stories. The first story is about the corporal the author's great grandfather and his horse Joey. The second part is about grandpa not being able to write and read and the third part is about the green Fordson tractor.

Grandpa was a good storyteller and listener and he told the author how his great grandfather called corporal and a horse called a joey. His father sold joey to the army ant the corporal joined the army just to get joey back. He found joey but had to pay the army his whole army pay to get joey back.

The second part was when grandfather told the author his big secret he couldn't read or write. He asked the author to teach him in four-month.
He was a keen learner and mastered the skills in the four months to such on extending he wrote the story in a letter to the author about the green Fordson tractor that stood in the barn all his years.

The book started with the author playing on the old green Fordson tractor in the barn and ended with him coming back to the farm as an adult fixing the old tractor because he read the story about how grandfather won the tractor using joey and Zoe to win a plowing competition.

I enjoyed how the 3 parts are linked to form the whole story. It had a good message of how the corporal did not give up trying to get joey back and grandfather not giving up learning to read or write. The story of the green Fordson tractor was linked to all 3 parts.

It was an interesting way of writing a story and I recommend it to my friends to read as it teaches you that if you believe you can do something you will do anything to make it come true

It's good, but there's a little grammar mistakes.
1) In "The story took place in the years after world war 2 on a farm in Devon called burrow in England." where it says "wold war 2" it should be "World War 2" notice the `w's` are in caps instead of in lowercase because Wold War 2 is a proper noun. In that sentence I also feel like where it says "on a farm in Devon called burrow in England." `burrow` should be capitalized. I would think that the correct way of writing it would be "The story took place in the years after World War 2 on a farm in Devon called Burrow in England."

2) Where it says "The first story is about the corporal the author's great grandfather and his horse Joey." after `corporal` there should be a comma because it's describing, giving a description on what `corporal` means/is. So, the correct way of writing it should be " The first story is about the corporal, the author's great grandfather and his horse Joey."

3) You haven't added a comma here, "Grandpa was a good storyteller and listener and he told the author how his great grandfather called corporal and a horse called a joey." a comma should be included after the `and` that is after `listener`. So, I think the correct way of writing it would be "Grandpa was a good storyteller and listener, and he told the author how his great grandfather called corporal and a horse called a joey."

4) At the very end, "It was an interesting way of writing a story and I recommend it to my friends to read as it teaches you that if you believe you can do something you will do anything to make it come true " there should be a period at the end of your sentence - "It was an interesting way of writing a story and I recommend it to my friends to read as it teaches you that if you believe you can do something you will do anything to make it come true."
