snowflake0531:

i did

AZ:

yes now since it has the same denominator, you can add them what do you get?

snowflake0531:

1-sinx^2 / cos^x

AZ:

good and remember the identity sin^2 x + cos^2 x = 1 so right now, we have 1 - sin^2x use the identity I just gave to simplify it

snowflake0531:

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, the identity thingy kay thanksssssssssssss

AZ:

yes and you should get something over something which simplifies to 1 and you're all done

snowflake0531:

ye, i was just writing it down

snowflake0531:
