the area of the triangle is 64 and the area of the square is 112. so you add those together and you have your answer. so solve for the triangle you use the two legs, and multiply them together, then divide bye 2

thx

have a great day!

the rectangle has a length of 16 and width of 8 area of rectangle = length * width what is the area of the rectangle? the triangle has a base of 14 and a height of 8 area of a triangle = 1/2 * base * height what is the area of the triangle?

AZ:

the total area of the lawn is going to be the area of the rectangle + area of triangle so add up the two areas and that will be your final answer
