Adriana, Henry, Malik, and Richard each design surveys to determine the most popular way seventh graders purchase music. Adriana samples the five friends sitting at her lunch table. Henry samples every boy in his homeroom class. Malik samples every student using an MP3 player while waiting for the bus. Richard samples the first student alphabetically on the class roster from each of 12 classes. Which sample is likely to produce the most valid results?
Here's the way I see it, Sample 1: Adriana samples five friends at her lunch table Sample 2: Henry samples every boy in his class Sample 3: Malik samples every student while waiting for the bus Sample 4: Richard samples the first student on the class roster in all 12 classes Now, given the seperation of each of the samples, figure out which one would give the most \(accurate\) results from the samples. Pretty straightforward if you know how to look at these and determine what each sample will result in.
