Three vases each contain 12 flowers. Some flowers are to be removed from one vase and placed in another vase to make the ratio of flowers in the three vases 3:2:1. What is the least number of flowers that must moved to accomplish this?

12 flowers 1:2:3 This means that the middle vase has 4 flowers.... and the other two have 2 and 6 So, we have 2, 4, 6 Which means that compared to the 4, 2 flowers were moved

That means there are 36 in all, with 12 as one, and 18 and 6 as the other ones 6, 12, 18 So, 6 were moved
