Factoring quadratic equations.

Aqual:

Aqual:

ok, im pretty sure i know how, nbut i wanna make sure

Aqual:

so with the 14x^2 - 21x + 0, i would tic tac toe it, right?

Aqual:

@Hero

Aqual:

idk what to do after that...

Aqual:

@dude

Aqual:

@Shadow

Aqual:

@Astrid1

Shadow:

I'm not used to that method, but I would just look at the common variables between the two terms. Both are divisible by 7 and x, so you can go from there.

Aqual:

oh yeah, so it would be 14x^2 - 21x, which factors to x(14x - 21), right?

Shadow:

That's the first step, then look at 14 and 21, they are both divisible by 7

Aqual:

so 7x(2-3)?

Aqual:

*2x

Shadow:

yep

Aqual:

is that completely factored?

Shadow:

I don't think there's anything else you can do to it.

Aqual:

ok, thx shad

Shadow:

you're welcome
