The role of the cell membrane is most like the job of which person? a firefighter who evacuates people from a burning building a police officer who allows select people to enter and leave a crime scene a bus driver who drives the express route from the suburb to downtown a teacher who keeps students in the classroom during an exam
Think of what a cell membrane's main purpose is for, then connect it's actions to what one of the answers do.
Last I checked, cell membranes work as a barrier to prevent things like viruses from breaking in. The police officer example appears to be the most similar option.

I mean I don't think so. They explained why a police officer would be similar since the cell membranes work as a (barrier) to keep unwanted stuff out (as they said viruses and other stuff) and it lets things like oxygen, carbon dioxide, lipids, etc pass through. And answer option B.) does look very similar to that explanation "a police officer who allows select people to enter and leave a crime scene"
Thanks for the backup, Hoodmemes
