killerjay556:

What does the rule (x+2, y-6) mean? How many up, down, right or left should your figure be translated? How do you know that?

JamesTDG:

The rule dictates that the figure would move 2 spaces right and 6 spaces down on the grid. When an x value has a number added, it goes right, when it has a number removed, it goes left. When a y value has a number added, it goes up, when it has a number removed, it goes down.
