How is racism taught?
Respectfully if you not answering the question don't comment idk
Then leave if its a dumb question i didn't ask you specially to answer
Racism is taught through the people around. If a child hears a parent use a slur then they think it is ok. That's always going to be the reaction. It could also be influenced by a culture they're surrounded by. It all depends.
I dont think racism is taought rather then learned from others around you.
thanks to everyone that answered my dumb question

I would agree with racism is taught mostly by what or should I say (who) surrounds the child. Not all children really instantly know things are wrong at a young age-this could be one of the factors that add to them thinking racism, in general, is ok. Obviously, children learn racism for their surroundings such as (T.V),(Parents-relatives),(friends). Kids can make quick opinions based on little information that they are given (mostly kids at a young age). It would honestly be great for parents to teach their kids at a young age that the color of a person's skin doesn't determine their personality, and that they shouldn't judge a person based on skin color. (Ur question isn't dumb, it is super educational, and most of the opinions commented need to be seen more)
