Which phase of the matter have the highest kinetic energy? a Gas and liquid b Liquid c Gas d Solid
@MrMudd183 c?
Gasses have the most Kinetic Energy,
Gasses, because they aren't bound by a limit. They are free and can bounce from each other freely.
I slightly disagree with that, true gas doesn't have much friction while using kinetic energy...but since gas particles are very spread out more than liquid and solid surfaces, the gas particles can pass through the objects easier. Even though the particles are more spread out, that could also mean they use up more kinetic energy. So I believe it could be either C like you said, or A. Liquids use kinetic energy and sometimes the amount of friction doesn't affect the amount of kinetic energy used up.
thanks
According to Berkley City College it's Gas
