Jadabug89:

Approximately 99.7% of all water on Earth is found in oceans, seas, ice, and the atmosphere. Based on this information, which statement is most accurate? (S6E3.a.)A. The Earth's freshwater supply is infinite. B. Less than 0.3% of Earth's water is drinkable.C. Humans are not dependent on ocean water. D. The water cycle returns all usable water to the sea

Jadabug89:

i think it D

AZ:

Are you sure? Does the water cycle have to return water to the sea? When it rains, is that water going into the sea? Also, what does usable water even mean? And how would it return "unusable" water? Is there even such a thing as usable and unusable water in the water cycle?

Jadabug89:

idk

AZ:

Take a look at your other answer choices They told us 99.7% of water is in oceans, seas, ice, and the atmosphere. What does that tell us about the other remaining 0.3%

AZ:

We can eliminate some other answer choices too Is freshwater infinite? That is, is freshwater unlimited? Can you say that we are not dependent on ocean water?

Jadabug89:

now i'm think it B

AZ:

you got it :)

Jadabug89:

AZ:

Good job

Jadabug89:

AZ:
