My life is changing, fast, Too Fast, My friend is moving, I am changing schools 5) Why can't things just stay the same? Changes everywhere I look The sky above a bright, clear blue, Where, yesterday, there were clouds. Two baby mockingbirds 10) In the tree outside my window: Last week, they were eggs. Their tree, last month, Was brown and bare, And now is green with leaves 15) The dirt it grows from, Long ago, Was just a hard gray rock. Changes, everywhere I look, In the sky, the trees, the earth, 20) Changes in my world, in me. I take a breath, let go And step into tomorrow. 6. What is the main idea of the last stanza of this poem? The author is ready for change. The day always brings changes. The whole world always changes. The author is tired of change.

@Icyhot

memeXpapi:

well do you have a guess of what it is?

bralyn:

The whole world always changes.

memeXpapi:

i dont think thats it, any other guesses?

bralyn:

The author is ready for change.

memeXpapi:

oh wait

Icyhot:

The world does change, yes, but this is conveying that the author is finally accepting change and is ready for change to begin and continue its process.

slice:

I mean it doesn't really show the author is "Tired" of change, he or she just talks about it in general. They basically just name changes that happen in almost everything. Example: Changes everywhere I look The sky above a bright, clear blue, Where, yesterday, there were clouds. I'd say u would cross off answer options A and B The author even says "Changes in my world, in me." Its like a hint to be honest. This would leave answer options C and D which do u think is correct. Remember it says "Changes in my world, in me." Indicating there is changes in the author,and changes within the world too.
