so let's figure out what the point on our new graph will be when x = 0

so plug it in

1/3 f(0-3) - 5

yeah, somehow the way you plotted those two points made it face the wrong direction

so I guess move the dot that's on (3, -5) and move it to (6, -4)

I think it set the vertex as (0, -4) and which is why the graph ended up looking like that

but the vertex is actually (3, -5) so you have to move that dot to (3, -5) for it to be the vertex
