Easter is mentioned in the Bible. (Acts 12:4 KJV) But for those who celebrate, where in the bible does it mention Easter eggs and Easter bunny?

I'm not Christian, I'm a Buddhist but I enjoy learning about different religions. I believe that this is because of big corporations capitalizing on different holidays for money and such.

Yes that does occur however, this pagan-infested holiday was established thousands of years ago when no corporations existed.

But early then it could have easily celebrated the said resurrection of Jesus. But over the years companies slowly started weaving American traditions into the holiday. So after time, it turned into the easter bunny and eggs to celebrate spring and two of the most thought of animals for spring, rabbits, and chicks.

Believe it or not, biblical Easter was not even centered around celebrating Jesus death/resurrection. If you read Acts 12:4, Easter is only mentioned once and there is no evidence that it had anything to do with celebrating Christ. Easter as a Christ-centered celebratory event came later with the establishment of Christianity as a religion by the Roman Empire.

its the same as most holidays like for christmas y is there elfs and santa and halloween its all the same

While the church obviously does not "celebrate" the easter bunny and having candy and eggs and all that good stuff, it may include some of those aspects just out of fun for the kids. More importantly, things that are culturally relevant have more of a chance of bringing someone into the church, including parents, which is a big deal. But from my experience, churches use the Easter holiday, even its mainstream aspects, to attract people who would not otherwise be willing or present to hear the message of Jesus' death, resurrection, and victory over sin and death, which is what christians actually celebrate on Easter.
