Well, the surface ocean temperature is what's rising. As is, the coral in deeper areas of the ocean are far less likely to be impacted - also, temperature falls rapidly with increased ocean depths (not to mention pressure). So anything that's closer to the top would probably die from overheating etc. first. You are correct, it's coral Z (or answer D).

The other choices would be wrong because they're further down from the surface. So while some of those might also die, they would be less at-risk than the coral that's closest to the surface. Hope that helped! Cheers, Kitt
