my dentist said today that me and my sis need braces so what do I need to prepare for?
I personally am likely about to get braces, but what I suggest is to watch what you eat, some stuff is not recommended that you eat it because it could cause the loss of functionality in the braces (you definently dont want that). There will also be some pain, but it should be easy enough to get through it if you follow what they ask, the worst time it hurts is when you are getting your braces removed, my sister told me that it feels like spikes going into your jaw and into your skull basically. So, prepare for a few headaches if I had to guess.
now i DON'T want braces!!!!!!
Trust me, they'll save your life, even if you can't tell a difference. If you don't get braces... you might have bad looking teeth, you don't want that.
Once it's over, you'll be glad you got them.
Lmao I still want them IgðŸ˜
It'll hurt but it's worth it, especially if you get them now, it's covered by insurance (or should be if you have insurance)
I do but on a scale of one through 10 how much should it hurt?
when you get them... it's probably a 6 and when you take them off it's probably a 7
Good but I go may 7th so the orthodontist can check my teeth again then she schedules the appointment.
ah I see I see
yup
and u need to prepare for braces...
Isn't that legit the question she asked, where you not paying attention?

XD @BadLiver
nice my brother used to have braces
There is really nothing you can do to prepare, What you have to look out for is what you eat, and what you do. You shouldn't eat anything hard (hard pretzels, nuts) you also should not eat anything sticky (Jolly ranchers, or sour patch kids). The first day, you should expect a lot of pain the first day. I recommend that you should eat soft things the first day(apple sauce, ice cream, yogurt) This will help with the pain and make it easier to eat. I also recommend to take aspirin or any type of pain pill before you sleep or right after you get them
