HELP ME So if you have a parent that's heterozygous (Hh) curly hair, and another who is homozygous recessive (hh) for the same trait, if you were to make a Punnett Square would every outcome be curly hair?

AZ:

Do you know how to make a Punnett square? |dw:1617987766329:dw| How would you fill it in?

AZ:

so the parent who is heterozygous Hh has curly hair and so does the parent who is homozygous recessive hh this tells you that having curly hair (h) is dominant so if you have one allele that is 'h' then you will have curly hair so first fill out the Punnett square, what do you get?

espressomachine:

|dw:1617988888383:dw| Thats what I got for my Punnett Square So would that mean that all of them have curly hair or only two?

AZ:

one parent had Hh and they had curly hair that tells you that having curly hair is dominant so if you have even one 'h' then you'll have curly hair and each square has one 'h' so ...

espressomachine:

each square has one 'h' so they are guaranteed to have curly hair

AZ:

exactly

espressomachine:

thank you

AZ:

you're welcome
