so, there were 85 sold dogs, and 70 sold cats -- suming that up we get 155. so, since we have 325 animals sold overall, we can now create this equation \( \frac{155}{325} \times \frac{x}{100} \) thus \( 155 \times 100 = x \times 325 \) \( 15500 = x \times 325 \) \( x = \frac{15500}{325} \) \( x = 47.69 \% \)
