what is the base of a rectangular pyramid? so if you cut a slice that's parallel, it's going to be the same as the base

and if you cut it at an angle, what do you get? you can refer to that image that Honda posted but it'll be the same thing

polygon is just a word to describe any shape like a triangle or rectangle or hexagon

you're cutting it perpendicular to the base so it's going to be a vertical slice what shape is it?
