I know the answer is 8 but, I don't know how to show my work.

Just like the last question. 56 is not a prime number. \[2 * 2 * 2 * 7 => 2^3 * 7^1\]96 is also not a prime number. \[2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 => 2^5 * 3^1\]New list is... 2,2,2,2,2,3,7 Multiply each one... \[LCM = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 7 = 672\]Exponential form... \[LCM = 2^5 * 3^1 * 7^1 = 672\]LCM = 672 So therefore, LCM(56, 96) = 672, not 8.
