Explain how words have the power to provoke, calm, and inspire.

SaltTheLoser:

well based on the tone and the message of those words have the ability to influence someone

Tonycoolkid21:

Words can build and lift, comfort and calm, teach and inspire. To the opposite, words can destroy and demolish, incite and enrage, berate and criticize, embarrass and demean. ... Often times they may try to mask their unkind words with sarcasm and humor, relishing in the laughter they get at the expense of someone else.

SaltTheLoser:

scuse my grammar new keyboard - but if you speak in a mundane tone you wont influence anyones feelings that way

pytdestinyy:

thank you

SaltTheLoser:

You're welcome

Tonycoolkid21:

:-)

Joe348:

words can mean so much more than being defined, it can reflect upon everything in your life

Mez666:

If you say something you know someone hates when someone brings it up such as perhaps teasing you about a crush or something dumb you did it provokes them and could end up making them mad. On the other hand if you talk about their crush and find out they got rejected and they are say about it you can help comfort and calm them by talking gently in a kind tone saying perhaps you will find the right one for you clearly they are not the one and even if they are they aren't worth the trouble if they can't see how amazing you are. As well as inspiring, you might inspire them to confess to their crush by giving them kind inspiring words to help them confess.
