Culinary Questions~ How can you break down any barriers of communication when mentoring someone? Give an example. How can you give constructive feedback effectively?
@MrMudd183
One way that I find is effective to break barriers of communication is to show show them several ways on how to do whatever you're tutoring them on... For example, say if Randy was being tutored for Pre-Calculus and he didn't fully understand what to do. His tutor, Mandy, would provide a demonstration on what to do and how to solve the question better. That is one way I use when I'm assisting someone when learning a new topic or mentoring them.
By being honest and not down playing their goals...
For the 2nd question.....the way I give constructive feedback correctly is through a method called "praise sandwich" A praise sandwich is done by giving a praise on one thing that someone did, followed by a critique, then give another praise on something else they did.
