how does this sound? im working on poetry and a potential song.

As I sit here and listen,
and see the hate people been dishin'
I realize something's missin'...
It's a fair justice system.
As innocent people sit in prison, politicians earn their commission.
Why is it that some people won't listen?
This new generation has a vision,
It's to try to stop this racism.
Those who suffer have their voices hidden
Let's make it our mission,
to end this unjust division,
and fix our broken justice system.
