What were the three regions that emerged during the early 1800s? What were their economies based on?
North, South, and the West.
ok the second part
The colonies are often divided up into three regions including the New England Colonies, the Middle Colonies, and the Southern Colonies. The Middle Colonies enjoyed a successful and diverse economy. Largely agricultural, farms in this region grew numerous kinds of crops, most notably grains and oats. Logging, shipbuilding, textiles production, and papermaking were also important in the Middle Colonies. The New England colonies had rocky soil, which was not suited to plantation farming, so the New England colonies depended on fishing, lumbering, and subsistence farming. The southern colonies' economy was based on agriculture (farming). Many of the colonists who came to the southern colonies were rich aristocrats or businessmen from England and they wanted to become even more wealthy from owning land. hope this helps ^^
