3(2w−7)=3

XioGonz:

What do you already know about this problem.

Kharma14:

just give the answer and stop asking questions 🙄

ScamTheMan:

All we do is distribute and solve for w. Do you know how to distribute?

AZ:

The most simplest way to solve this question is not by distributing the 3 inside the parenthesis but instead by dividing 3 on both sides \( \dfrac{3(2w−7)}{3} = \dfrac{3}{3}\) The 3 on the left side will cancel out \( \dfrac{\cancel{3}(2w−7)}{\cancel{3}} = \dfrac{3}{3}\) Leaving you with \( 2w - 7 = \dfrac{3}{3}\) So what is 3/3 = ?
