if God already knows who is and isn't gonna go to Heaven then does it even matter what we do with our time on earth if it is already set who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell?

Yes it does matter, you're supposed to follow the word of the Bible cuz its Gods word he doesn't decide what you do you decide that but God tells you what is wrong and what is right and you decide which path to follow so no, where your going is not set in stone that's why In the book of Bible it talks about judgment day and that's when he decides where you're going... hope this helps and hope anyone who reads this is drown closer to God
