crispyrat:

so (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2 and then (a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2. so anything in those formats would be a perfect square.

crispyrat:

for example 4x^2+16+16 is a perfect square bevause a^2=4 so a=2 and tjem b^2=16 so b=4 and also 2*a*b=2*4*2=16 and then in the perfect square form is (a+b)^2 or (2x+4)^2
