nav50:

nav50:

nav50:

0-0

Adverturetime57:

Hold on

Adverturetime57:

I have it

Adverturetime57:

First, 𝑥^2 + 8 x + 15 x^2+5x+3x+15

Adverturetime57:

Next, x^2 + 5x + 3x + 15 x(x+5)+3(x+5)

Adverturetime57:

Then, x(x+5)+3(x+5) (x+3)x(x+5)

Adverturetime57:

Solution ( 𝑥 + 3 ) ( 𝑥 + 5 )

Adverturetime57:

So

Adverturetime57:

1 Use the sum-product pattern 2 Common factor from the two pairs 3 Rewrite in factored form

Adverturetime57:

and there you go

nav50:

awww thank you

Adverturetime57:

(x+3)(x+5)

\[x^2 + 8x +15\] We want to numbers that mulitply to 15, and add up to 8 We have 1, 15 3, 5 obviously, 3 and 5 add up to 8 So we have (x+3)(x+5) this is the regular factoring way
