You should know what e is, it's actually just an irrational number
so put into your calculator e^-1.6, and round to the nearest 5th decimal point
Extrinix:
Actually, e is equal to 2.71828182846, not a variable
Extrinix:
so what does \(e^\text{-1.6}\) equal?
klmjnmkj:
0.20189651
Extrinix:
round to five decimal places.

\text{that is the fifth place, look at the number after,} \\ \text{that number is 6, look at the rules:} \\
\text{ } \\\text{1 to 5: keep the number} \\
\text{6 to 9: round up 1 (so if it's 5 it would be 6)}\)

we have
0.20189651799
what is the 6th digit to the right of the decimal point
klmjnmkj:
6
snowflake0531:
so
0.201896
Now because 5 or on, we round over, 9 goes up 1, but because 9 would become 10, we would round it straight to
0.202190
remember the 0 at hte end
klmjnmkj:
alright
klmjnmkj:
0.202190 is the anser?
