Both the diseases multiple sclerosis (occurs in adulthood stage) and cerebral palsy (occurs at early stage of life) are untreatable and they usually irritate the myelin thereby producing plaques or lesions. Cerebral palsy does not get worse by time while multiple sclerosis will get worse by time but both are life long and hence continuous medication is required to prevent its adverse effects.
