Think of what each of these do, a dot plot is a scatter plot that shows certain variables (in this case, number of students to score) individually. A histogram is a graph that shows the ranges of the variables. Which would be better given the information?

because it is asking which would show the data the best, in the data it shows the ranges, and not individuality
