In World War One, there were two main alliances. One was knows as The Triple Alliance, which included Austria-Hungary. Germany, and Italy.
Then there was The Triple Entrete. This alliance was composed of Great Britain, France, and Russia.
Not to point out the obvious, but they’re knows as “The Triple . . .” because as you can clearly see there were three countries involved in each alliance.
So those were the members of each alliance in WW1.
